Description

This course designed to increase Registered Nurse's knowledge of key clinical and social aspects of epilepsy and seizures for application into their service delivery and practice.  

The 10 modules in the course provide comprehensive, practical information about different types of epilepsy and seizures, its diagnosis, different forms of management and how it can affect someone’s life and lifestyle.   Videos of seizures, personal experiences and other visual aids about epilepsy matters are included in the course.

There are quiz’s and assessment activities at the end of each module, as well as assessments to complete at the end of the course.

Prerequisites

Pre-requisites

There are no pre-requisites; however, this course is designed to meet the needs of registered nurses, especially those working in the fields of neurology or in the disability sector.
