Overview 

Our courses for schools are designed as simple and fun activity-based programs to provide basic, practical information about the brain, seizures and epilepsy – and how to manage a seizure when it happens. 

The course will help children understand what to do if someone has a seizure and lessen any fear or confusion around seizures. 

It is self-paced and designed to be used in the classroom setting with some teacher guidance. There are lots of fun activities for children to try with links to useful resources and activities for teachers to use in the classroom both online and offline. 

Who is this course for? 

This course is aimed at children from 7-12 years of age in Grades 3 to 6.

How do I complete this course? 

This course is delivered completely online and is self-paced. 

How long do I have to complete the course?  

You will have access to this course for 3 months.

Is anything required before I start? 

There are no prerequisites for this course.  

What happens when I finish the course?  

There is a short online quiz at the end of the course, please note certificates of completion are not issued for this course.
