This course is vital for anyone who supports someone living with epilepsy and intellectual disability. It combines our 3 courses Living with Epilepsy and Disability; Minimising the Risk and Observing and Recording Seizures.

During this self-paced online session you’ll learn about common emergency medications used for seizures; why it is used; how to manage seizure emergencies; your responsibilities during the process; and how to practically administer the medication in a safe and timely manner.

This course is about seizure related risks and how to minimise potential risks at home, work and outdoors.

Learn the importance of observation and required documentation to help recognise and respond to seizures.
